It's the holidays. Because it's a gift-giving season, we'd like to introduce you to Debra Flanagan.
Whether your favorite Clarksville category is jewelry, pottery, glass, wood or other mixed media, or all of the above, there's one item all customers love -- the hand-painted wrapping paper made by Austin artist Debra Flanagan. Debra's paper is the perfect finishing touch for a gift of artisan craft. This gift-wrap has become a Clarksville signature, so much so that gifts have gone unopened for many days just to enjoy their beauty (or so we're told).
Debra began her artistic path in 1989, both to express her creative energy and also to be a stay-at-home mom for her daughters, Seana, now at the University of Texas, and Brigid, a third grader. For Debra, and her husband, Timothy, nothing is as meaningful as their close family.
At this time of the year, when families gather together and beautiful gifts bring joy to all, we thought it appropriate to honor Debra Flanagan in this Special Feature.
